Remodeled Home on Great Fishing & Swimming Bay!

First of all, the communication with the host was top notch. Very informative and quick to reply. The unit itself was immaculate when we arrived, and had everything that was mentioned in the listing, and then some.We stayed for four nights and we were fortunate to have beautiful weather the whole time. For those who fish, be aware that this is a relatively shallow lake, and you really need a boat to get to the better fishing spots. We ended up renting a boat from Terry's in Garrison and were able to catch some nice smallmouth bass (and one northern that got away) in the place he recommended that we go.I would definitely put this unit on your "short list" if looking for a place on Mille Lacs Lake.

We had a great 5 days on Mille Lacs at this property! It's clean, has all of the amenities you need including kayaks, paddleboard, paddleboat, and plenty of games. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the dock has perfect bumpers for tying up a boat. Wigwam bay itself is quiet, which made it easy for the kids to enjoy time on the water. The backyard and deck have plenty of shade which makes it easy to relax, even on hot summer days. We would definitely come back here if we had the opportunity someday. Mike, the property manager, was very responsive to all of our questions.

The property was amazing. The house was beautiful and exactly as described. The property manager was wonderful at communicating with us before and during the stay. Beforehand, you are sent all of the information that you could possibly need for the stay. The house and property was very clean. Everything was very high quality, from the appliances to the furniture to the towels.The house is situated on a cove on Mille Lacs, which is perfect. A few of the days during our stay, it was windy. The cove was calm and allowed us to go out on the lake. The "big part" of the lake would have had too many large waves to be out on it safely. Because of the sheer size of Mille Lacs, the cove itself is bigger than some lakes, so there was plenty of room to have fun tubing and floating. The outdoor amenities were great, there were yard games games, kayaks, and a lily pad as well. The house is a few miles from two towns, one to the north and one to the south. Both had gas and groceries available. They were pretty expensive, so if possible you might want to bring some of your own food along.I have nothing bad to say about this property, we enjoyed our week there very much and would certainly go back again.
